YOGA
Throughout my life, I have made many attempts following specific yoga routines. I remember finding it challenging, which I understand better now.
Yoga becomes a struggle when you’re used to being in your head and not your body. Our western schooling and lifestyle sitting inside in front of screens most of the day is unfortunately far from holistic awareness.
It wasn’t until I reached my 30´s and moved away from the city, that I started to connect deeper with my body and the nature around me.
Intuitive movement
After completing a Yoga teacher training at Nordic Maha Yoga in 2022, it became clear to me that I want to teach yoga and stay dedicated to my healing journey.
As Donna Farhi says; «a yoga teacher can only take her students where she herself has been.»
The more I go into myself and is present in my body, the more I also uncover the suppressed emotions and energy blockages. The traumas and the habits creating tension in my body.
These insights has brought me to realise what my purpose as a yoga teacher is - to inspire to find one's own teacher, to listen inward and let the body do what the body is made for.
My personal yoga practice in often outside in nature together with elements of dance and improvisation. I love to move freely, close my eyes and move where I feel my body needs to move in that moment.
All my workshops and events includes elements of embodiment practices. Im also available to hold classes and co-create.
